Easy Rano Ltd. is a Ghanaian environmental company founded in 2008 by Noah Abelson and Raphael Kwawu. In March of 2008, American Abelson and Ghanaian Kwawu were making their way by car through the littered streets of Accra, the Ghanaian capital. A storm was dumping rain, and the streets were flooded due to the omnipresent trash that was obstructing the sewage system. Throughout the African continent, issues with management of domestic and foreign waste threaten the welfare of the land and its people. Inspiration struck, and Easy Rano Ltd. was registered and begun soon after. Our company is operative as part of a larger social project we call Easy Rano: Ghana, which uses the company as a vehicle towards environmental education in the region and beyond.
Abelson and Kwawu are currently based in Ghana, hard at work on the upstart project, while budding business guru Andrew Gerow and maverick social innovator Justin McKee maintain shop in the States and work to bring the efforts of Easy Rano into consciousness, both in Ghana and in the world. We are currently in the process of building relationships and acquiring funding and sponsorships with partners of all kinds. We are reaching out to organizations involved in community/economic development, environmental issues and education, health care, and other areas of interest shared by Easy Rano. We also welcome investing inquiries from individuals and foundations alike, as well as any and all referrals and relationships that might encourage our project.
Easy Rano: Ghana is the effort of four young men to etch out a new human policy, one rooted in both progressive social and environmental consciousness and in a sacred respect for land and its people.

Coinsidentally, I have a friend who just returned from a mission in India through "Doctors without boundaries".
